Blatter Salutes F/Eagles On U20 W/ Cup Qualification



FIFA President Sepp Blatter has congratulated the Flying Eagles after their qualification for the U-20 World Cup taking place this year in New Zealand.
The Flying Eagles secured Nigeria’s qualification by reaching the semi-finals of the ongoing CAF U20 AYC in Senegal after they defeated Congo 4-1 in their second group game with a game in hand.
“Congratulations! Nigeria, 1st African team to qualify for U20 World Cup,” Blatter wrote on his twitter page.
Meanwhile, in group A other game, Senegal played 2-2 with Cote d’Ivoire.
Flying Eagles will take on Cote d’Ivoire on Saturday while host Senegal squares up against Congo.
