A late minute goal from the hosts ensured they shared points with the reigning African queens in the 2015 All African Games qualifier played on Saturday evening
Nigeria's senior women national team were held to a 1-1 draw by Mali in the second round, first leg match of the Caf Women All Africa Games qualifiers on Saturday.
Ngozi Okobi's solitary goal was not enough to hand the country the needed victory as a late equalizer from the hosts ensured the encounter ended in no winner, no vanquished state in Bamako.
The Super Falcons failed to convert many chances created in the first half as the opening 45 minutes ended scoreless.
In the second half, Okobi put the Nigerian side ahead in the 52nd minute before the hosts levelled up in the injury time of the encounter which ended in a 1-1 draw.
Edwin Okon's ladies who holds away goal and point advantage will hosts Mali in the final qualifying round, second leg which will take place on April 4 in Abuja
