SUPER SAND EAGLES OUTCLASS GHANA



Super Sand Eagles on Friday defeated Ghana 5-2 in their first game of the Power Horse Invitational Tournament in Durban, South Africa.
Abu Azeez scored three goals while Ikechukwu Ibenegbu scored twice.
The three-day tournament continues on Saturday with the clash of the loser of the South Africa versus Seychelles game against the loser of Morocco versus Cote d’Ivoire at 1pm and the loser of Senegal versus Mozambique against Ghana at 2.15pm.
The first semi final will start at 3.30pm and the other semi final at 4.45pm.
On Sunday, the loser’s final will start at 3.30pm while the final kicks off at 4.45pm.
Ibenegbu, a veteran of the team who has been to World Cups and African Championships was thankful to God on Facebook for the win.
“Thank God for the wonderful victory over Ghana. Abu scored three; Ibenegbu aka ‘Mosquito’ (referring to himself) scored two goals.”
The Nigeria Football Federation 1st Vice President Seyi Akinkunmi is the leader of the Nigerian delegation to the tournament
